Green Dot (Cyprus) Public Co. Limited was established in 2003 as a non-profit, private company whose main objective is to undertake collectively and on behalf of all companies (manufacturing and importing) in Cyprus their responsibility to recover and recycle all packaging materials they place into the local market. This is a need created as a result of harmonisation with the EU and more specifically by the Directive 94/62/EU on Packaging and Packaging Waste.
