Vialco Ltd was founded in March 1959 as a private, family run business for the manufacture and retail of detergents. The first powder detergents plant was completed in 1961, near the main Larnaca harbour, and shortly after the first detergent to come out the production line was SYP, a high suds hand washing powder, still produced today. In 1982 moved to the new modern and automated plant located at the Aradippou Industrial Estate about 5 km from Larnaca International Airport. Vialco is one of a handfull of companies who, having received Gold Metals for five consecutive years, we were awarded the Prestigious Monde Trophy, for the unmatched High Quality of our products. Our products LASER Automatic powder detergent, SYP Hand Washing Powder and Final Touch Fabric conditioner have been awarded Gold Medals. The first company in the world to have manufactured (in 1999) automatic powder detergents that make garments UV and Sun protective: eco Laser. VIALCO manufactures and markets its own well-established brands, also manufactures under license brands for other companies: for a multinational since 1962 and for well respected Cypriot companies. With an efficient and flexible manufacturing unit we can produce both conventional and compact detergent powders, liquid fabric softeners, washing up liquids, hard surface and other cleaners.
